Dr Kanakis holds a MD from the University of Novi Sad (Republic of Yugoslavia) and a PhD (Magna Cum Laude) from the Otto-von-Guericke University of Magdeburg (Germany). He has received the Specialty of Neuropathology from the Medical Corp of Nordrhein in Düsseldorf/Germany (September 2011) and the Specialty of General Pathology from the General Directorate of Public Health and Social Welfare of the Region of Thessaly in Larissa/Greece (January 2013).
His research interests are predominantly in the fields of Neuro-Oncology, Neuro-Degenerative and Demyelinating Diseases, as well as Neuro-Developmental and Neuro-Muscular Disorders.

Training and experience is mainly targeted at the radiological study of the Central Nervous System (CT Scan and MR).
Dr. Yoana Dokova is a neurologist. She is working now in PPD and in a private medical center as a specialist. She have been working for 12 years in University Hospital of Neurology and Psychiatry as a assistant professor. She have been located in Department of Demyelinating and Degenerative diseases and that is why my interests are in that areas. For two years now she is working in the clinical trial field, in on of the big CROs. Her position is associated with specific knoweledge in the filed of Neuroscience. Together with this she continue to practice neurology in a private medical center where she can see wide range of patients with different pathology and complaints.
Daniel-Marius Ispas is a young neurologist from Romania and he works in a municipal hospital in a town called Fagaras from the center of my country (from Brasov county). He has interests in neuroepidemiology, neuro-HIV and other neuroinfections (having a master degree in the management of nosocomial infections). Being a member of The International Parkinson and Movement Disorder Society, He preoccupied by this challenging neurological field too. Also, he has concerns in neuroimaging and novel therapeutics options in neurology.
He want to meet colleagues from all the world to discuss difficult cases and to keep in touch with them regarding neurological exam, lab investigations and CT/MRI, EEG patterns, electrodiagnostic studies, carotid Doppler US, differential diagnosis, treatment and management in neurological cases (neurocardiologic, neuropsychiatric etc.).
