Dear colleagues and readers,
The increasing demand on energy sources from one side and the impacts of this increase on environment from another side has urged oil and gas companies to select the smartest and most advanced techniques to respond adequately to the demand. This applies to all activities from early stage concepts to the exploration, production, transportation, distribution, and decommissioning. Some examples of these innovations are system digitalisation, smart well integrity and construction, hydraulic fracturing technique, application of nanotechnology and bio-products in unlocking trapped oil and gas, carbon capture and storage, waste management and many more advanced techniques.
The Journal of Oil, Gas and Petrochemical Sciences aims to disseminate researchers’ findings on the above stated topics in timely manner, without restriction for use or distribution. By publishing original, advanced and novel research work in this journal we hope to fill the gap between the research work done in academia and its target industry. By publishing in the open access Journal of Oil, Gas and Petrochemical Sciences, quality research increases its visibility by making it more accessible to scientists and the public alike.
