Dr. Moawad is fellowship-trained in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery at Magee-Womens Hospital of the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. He has extensive training in the state-of-the-art management of abnormal bleeding, fibroids, ovarian pathology, chronic pelvic pain and endometriosis. During his fellowship, he achieved a Masters in Clinical Research from the University Of Pittsburgh School Of Medicine. Prior to his fellowship, Dr. Moawad completed his residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University Hospitals of Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. He graduated from Cairo University School of Medicine and completed a residency in Family Medicine in Toledo, Ohio, before pursuing his career in advanced gynecologic surgery.

Dr. Moawad’s professional passions revolve around the introduction and advancement of minimally-invasive surgical options for women, as well as resident education in laparoscopic surgery. He has lectured at regional and national meetings, and taught at surgical workshops. Dr. Moawad’s passion for the advancement of surgical care for women has led him to publish in several reputable medical and surgical journals, including the American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology, the Journal of Minimally-invasive Gynecology, the Journal of the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons, the Journal of Ultrasound in Medicine and the Journal of Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology.

Dr. Moawad is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) and is an active member of several national organizations such as the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists (AAGL), the American Society of Reproductive Medicine and Society of Reproductive Surgeons (ASRM/SRS) and the Society for Clinical and Translational Science (SCTS).

Among Dr. Moawad’s accolades are the prestigious “Special Excellence in Gynecologic Endoscopy” award through the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists and the “Wolf Utian Surgical Excellence” award from the University Hospitals Case Medical Center.  In October 2012 he also achieved another level of excellence when, through the efforts of Dr. Moawad and his team, UF Health&Shands earned the designation as an AAGL Center of Exellence in Minimally Invasive Gynecology (COEMIG).

Dr. Tamara L. Mangum holds an MD, PhD in Public Health Epidemiology, an MEd in Adult Education, and a BSc in Biological Sciences.  She has a wide-range of interests as related to epidemiology, general practice, women’s health, public health, and emergency health management.  Dr. Mangum has spent the bulk of her professional career in the developing world, from the Caribbean to the Pacific, working in both applied as well as academic settings.  She is an experienced academic, published researcher, and editor, who holds the following appointments:

·         Associate Professor of Medical Epidemiology and Emergency Health Management, and Chair of Emergency Health Management, at Fiji National University

·         Professor of Medical Microbiology and Immunology, and Associate Chair, at the College of Medicine and Health Sciences, St Lucia

·         Consultant Medical Epidemiologist to numerous institutions

Dr. Iakovos Soussis is a Consultant Obstetrician-Gynaecologist, Fertility and IVF Specialist at the Institute of Life, IASO Maternity Hospital. Offering cutting edge technology treatments, he combines excellence in science with a human approach. He worked for 12 years as an Obstetrician-Gynaecologist in British hospitals, including Hammersmith Hospital (London) and Addenbrooke’s Hospital (Cambridge). As a Research Fellow to Professors Lord Robert Winston and Raul Margara, he worked on all aspects of diagnosis and treatment of infertility, including tubal microsurgery and IVF. He was the clinician responsible for coordinating the assessment and the treatment of patients with genetic disease in the first worldwide Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis (PGD), at the Hammersmith Hospital. Returning to Greece, he founded the “IVF&Genetics” Institute of Gynaecology and Assisted Reproduction and was the Clinical Director for 18 years. He has participated in collaborative international trials of IVF drugs and co-authored the relevant scientific article, published in the journal Human Reproduction. His team was awarded the Medal for Research by the Athens Medical Association, for the first PGD of b-thalassaemia in Greece. He gained his membership of the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology of London in 1993 and he was elevated to the status of Fellow in 2007. He is a founding member of the Greek branch of the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology of London (Greece-Cyprus). He qualified from the Medical School of the University of Athens and obtained his MSc degree from the University of Glasgow.

Dr. Hambartsoumian is the author of numerous scientific works on Human Infertility, published in leading journals of the world. He has research experience for 3 years in Paris V University and for 7 years in Boston, Harvard University affiliated programs. Dr. Hambartsoumian has almost 6 years of experience as an ad hoc reviewer of the European Journal - Human Reproduction. Dr. Hambartsoumian is specialist in reproductive medicine, intrauterine insemination, in vitro fertiltization, intracytoplasmatic sperm injection and  embryology. He was awarded by a number of prestigious awards, including the English biographical society “One of the best scientists of 21 centuries” (2003), and the "Best Doctor of 2012" in Armenia.

Dr. Erich Cosmi is an Associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at University of Padua School of Medicine, Italy. He received his medical degree (MD) with summa cum laude from University of Rome La Sapienza Medicine in 1999. Dr. Cosmi is a member of the society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology and The American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine.

Dr. Gaweesh is an Emeritus professor of Gynecology and Obstetrics, Faculty of Medicine at Alexandria University from 2005 till now.

Dr. Jacoeb is a Obstetrician and Gynecologist at SamMarie Hospital, Jakarta. He completed his Medical Degree in Faculty of Medicine at University of Indonesia in 1974. He is member of Endocrine Society of Australia and American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopy.

Dr. Faraj is a Consultant Gynaecologist and special interest in Reproductive Medicine and Surgery at the Rotherham General Hospital in South Yorkshire. He is the lead of Infertility Service, and he also sees private gynaecology and fertility patients at Thornbury BMI Hospital/Sheffield.

Dr. Giorgio Pagani is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist. He received his medical degree at University of Brescia, Italy. He started a Clinical Research Fellowship program in 2013 at St. George's University of London (UK).

Dr. Alessandro Favilli completed his degree in Medicine and Surgery with Honours in 2007 (Title of the thesis: "Postpartum hysterectomy: a regional multicentric analysis in Italy"; Thesis supervisor: Prof Gian Carlo Di Renzo). He was a resident at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University Hospital of Perugia "Santa Maria della Misericordia", Perugia (Italy) under the supervision of Professor Gian Carlo Di Renzo (Title of Thesis: "Pain in diagnostic hysteroscopy: a multivariate analysis after a randomized controlled trial". Graduation cum laude).

In 2010, he started a fellowship for Gynecological Endoscopy at Arbor Vitae Endoscopic Centre, Rome, (Italy) under the supervision of Professor Ivan Mazzon, focusing on diagnostic and operative hysteroscopy.

In 2012, within the Erasmus Placement – Long Learning Program, he started a fellowship for Gynecological Endoscopy at ETCA (Endoscopic Training Center Antwerp) ZNA (Ziekenhuis Netwerk Antwerpen) Stuivenberg - Sint Erasmus – SintElisabeth, under the supervision of Professor Bruno van Herendael, focusing on hysteroscopy and laparoscopic surgery.

From 2014 to 2017, he attended PhD program in Translational Medicine and Surgery at University of Perugia, Perugia (Italy) under the supervision of Professor Sandro Gerli (Main project research: "The intraoperative effect of preoperative GnRH analogues administration in women undergoing cold loop hysteroscopic myomectomy: a randomized controlled trial." Actually, Dr. Favilli  has been working as Consultant at Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Azienda USL Umbria 1, Città di Castello (Italy) and as Lecturer at of University of Perugia, Perugia (Italy).

Dr. Favilli is author of more than 30 scientific publications published in peer-review international indexed Journals.

Dr. Papakonstantinou is a Resident in Gynecology, 1st Surgical Department - Breast Centre, at General Maternity District Hospital Helena Venizelou.
