Dr. Maryam Khajehpour is a Chemical Engineer with an advanced material and nanotechnology background. Her current research focuses at Simon Fraser University (SFU) is on development of solid adsorbent materials with improved performance for the application of adsorption heat transfer systems. She graduated from the University of Calgary with her PhD in Chemical Engineering with a focus on the modifications of nanofillers and polymeric nanocomposites in 2014. She received both her Bachelor and Master's in Chemical Engineering, Process Design from Sharif University of Technology in 2005 and 2009, respectively. Prior to joining SFU in the summer of 2017, Maryam worked as a research scientist at InnoTech Alberta on enhanced oil recovery (EOR) processes and she also worked as a postdoctoral fellow in Chemical and Material Engineering at the University of Calgary.
