Dr. Yoana Dokova is a neurologist. She is working now in PPD and in a private medical center as a specialist. Dr. Yasser Awaad, a dedicated neurologist with a sub-specialization in child neurology, provides consulting services to the Beaumont Healthcare System in Royal Oak, Michigan, and serves as a visiting professor at Ain-Shams University in Cairo, Egypt. Besides teaching and consulting, he has extensive experience in administration, having helped expand the pediatric neurology field in Saudi Arabia by creating the first Pediatric Neurology Department, first Pediatric Neurology Residency Program, and a board pediatric neurology exam in that country alongside a major neurosciences facility. Dr. Yasser Awaad’s research history includes completing a large study regarding new Tourette syndrome treatments.

Dr Anita K. Mehta is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Neurology in the Rutgers Neurological Institute of New Jersey at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. She joined the Department in March 2015. She is also the Director of Stroke at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center which is primary stroke center that is part of theRWJBarnabas Network.

Dr. Mehta graduated from Rutgers University with a degree in Cell Biology and Neuroscience with a minor in Psychology. She completed her medical degree from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine.   After that, she completed, a preliminary year in Medicine at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia and stayed there for another three years to complete her Neurology Residency. Then, she completed a 1 year Fellowship at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Neurophysiology/Epilepsy Tracked.

She worked for about a year and half as a Neurohospitalist before joining Rutgers.  She is boarded in Neurology and Epilepsy.  She is a candidate for a Masters in Clinical and Translational Research at George Washington University. She has been a sub-investigator with clinical drug trials involving Myasthenia Gravis and Chronic Inflammatory Polyradiculopathy.

Daniel-Marius Ispas is a young neurologist from Romania and he works in a municipal hospital in a town called Fagaras from the center of my country (from Brasov county). He has interests in neuroepidemiology, neuro-HIV and other neuroinfections (having a master degree in the management of nosocomial infections). Being a member of The International Parkinson and Movement Disorder Society, He preoccupied by this challenging neurological field too. Also, he has concerns in neuroimaging and novel therapeutics options in neurology.

He want to meet colleagues from all the world to discuss difficult cases and to keep in touch with them regarding neurological exam, lab investigations and CT/MRI, EEG patterns, electrodiagnostic studies, carotid Doppler US, differential diagnosis, treatment and management in neurological cases (neurocardiologic, neuropsychiatric etc.).
